Product Description
This is a quick mini - lesson that can be used to help students understand how to document the design process of their projects. It includes a work period activity and a closing comprehension activity with answer key. It can be used with any project, but it was designed to be used with the The History of Technology Children's Story Design Challenge found here (https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/The-History-of-Technology-Childrens-Story-Design-Challenge-NO-Prep-2285158).

Standards Addressed:
ELACC9-10SL1: Initiate and participate effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on grades 9–10 topics, texts, and issues, building on others’ ideas and expressing their own clearly and persuasively.

ELACC9-10SL2: Integrate multiple sources of information presented in diverse media or formats (e.g., visually, quantitatively, orally) evaluating the credibility and accuracy of each source.


ELACC9-10SL4: Present information, findings, and supporting evidence early, concisely, and logically such that listeners can follow the line of reasoning and the organization, development, substance, and style are appropriate to purpose, audience, and task.
