Position Puzzles are a fun way to foster critical thinking in your classroom, and they would make an excellent early finisher activity too! Essentially, students must look at each position puzzle carefully and pay attention to the relationship between the two images at the top of the puzzle. They must also look at the bottom section of the
puzzle. They must think about how the image on the bottom relates to the relationship at the top of the puzzle. Which way is the image rotated? Students may use small image cards to physically rotate the pictures, if desired or needed. Directions and answer keys are included for both sets, and there are fifteen position puzzlers per set. This packet is sure to challenge your little smarties while incorporating some art inspiration from Henri Matisse and Keith Haring!
