This download includes 21 half-page Positive Affirmation Posters to help your students develop a Growth Mindset. These posters can be displayed around the room, or displayed one at a time as you discuss the affirmation. (I like to cover one affirmation a week and read books aloud to my class that demonstrate the affirmation.)
The font and clipart has been kept deliberately simple for beginning readers to be better able to read the affirmation and not be distracted by too much cuteness!
Affirmations included are:
“I can do hard things.”
“Mistakes help me learn.”
“I work hard and try my best.”
“I get better every day.”
“I make good choices.”
“I am brave.”
“I am a problem solver.”
“I try new things.”
“I spread kindness everywhere I go.”
“I am a good friend.”
“I have a positive attitude.”
“I do the right thing even when no one is watching.”
“I can handle it!”
“Feedback helps me grow.”
“I won’t quit until I’m proud.”
“I don’t have to be perfect, I just have to try.”
“I have self-control.”
“I listen to my heart.”
"I can overcome challenges."
"I am responsible."
"I have the power to choose."
If you would like a list of picture books to accompany these affirmations, I have a blog post that you can check out! Click here for the blog post.
Tips for Buyers:
Want a discount on future purchases? Don’t forget to leave feedback!
Just go to your My Purchases page (you may need to login). Beside each purchase you'll see a Provide Feedback button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. Each time you give feedback, TPT gives you feedback credits that you use to lower the cost of your future purchases. I really appreciate your feedback and it helps me determine which products are most valuable for your classroom so I can create more for you.
