Ideas for using specific praise notes:
-Decided what behaviors you want to work on, then set out to find them!
-Keep them in your teacher binder, and open to the subject page when you are working in that subject.
-Teach a skill, then give a praise when it is used.
-In the classroom, replace the color behavior chart with a group praise board. When a kid is given a praise note, let them add it to the board! See how many your class can collect!
-Make a goal to give one printed note per student per day, and 10 verbal praises per student per day!
-Use the praise ideas for your verbal praises.
-Give praises to your students for them to award to each other.
