Positive Attitude Classroom Poster
When my son was diagnosed with autism in 2002, his doctor said there was no point in trying to teach him anything as he'd never be able to learn a thing. There were no specialist autism services in our area (and still aren't any). All my family and I had were a couple of books about autism, our faith, and our positive attitude.
My son still has many challenges, especially sensory issues, but he has learned to speak, sing, play games, read, write, count , and pester his sisters. He loves math and science, and knows 1000s of songs.
So, I hope that on difficult days in your classroom, this poster will encourage and remind you that all of your students can make great progress when you all keep a Positive Attitude.
