Recognize your students' growth mindset, effort, achievement, and behavior with these fall-themed positive behavior notes for students.
If you are a PBIS school, or if you're just looking for a way to acknowledge students in a positive manner, one great way to achieve that goal is writing positive notes! My students love the positive incentive of receiving a note to take home to their parents, sharing about their day at school. This fall-themed resource is a great addition to your classroom management repertoire. Many of my students-including some of my more challenging students- would work extra hard if I told them I'd send home a positive note. This often worked better than other rewards they could earn.
It's such a simple, yet effective, way to build positive relationships with your students, and to increase communication with parents.
This product includes 14 different positive notes, with four notes to a page. 13 of the designs are in both color and black and white, while the mountains clip art is only available in color. Print them on Astrobrights paper for a colorful result, or print on white paper and your students can use their own creativity to color them. All the clip art is fall-themed without being Halloween, so you can use these notes with all of your students and past the month of October.
I've also included a page of positive statements you can use for those times when your brain is stuck on "great job!" and you want to give more specific feedback.
