For those students that need a little extra encouragement to get through the day, these punch cards are a great behavior management alternative.
Simply hole punch a number each day the student has a great day (for younger students, I'd hole punch more often) and when the card is full, the student gets a reward of your choosing (i.e. extra recess time, a special snack, a prize from the treasure chest, etc.)
Some suggestions I've heard for keeping track of these cards: have students keep them in their pencil pouch, tape them to their desk, keep them in a pocket chart, pin them to a bulletin board, or (if you have lots of those special students!) stick them all on a key ring.
These charts are great because: 1) they don't cost you extra money (no stickers needed!), 2) they don't take up much time, and 3) they are perfect for schools focusing on positivity.
There are 9 cards to a page, with 9 different designs. I left a space on each card for you to customize it with the child's name. I've also included a sheet of blank templates if you want to personalize them with your school name and mascot.
Happy Teaching! :)
