This product was designed to address the behavior of the 5th grade students in my building. We started with intervention groups for behavior then we began passing out respect tickets for the behaviors we desired. Any adult in the building that interacts with the 5th grade students can give them tickets when they see desired behaviors. We change the color each month. We use vibrant colors that can't be easily copied by the students. At the end of the month students add up their tickets and we record how many they earned. We then hold a Super Respect Student Reward Activity time for 30 minutes on either the last Friday of the month or the first Friday of the month. Our principal and helping teacher help out with our reward activity. Our principal takes the most challenging group. We try to offer 3 fun activity choices. We usually have one classroom that is a study hall. There is a tracking sheet to record names and how many tickets they had and what rewards they are eligible for.
Students really love the (editable) respect reward slips that they can earn. They earn one for every 15 respect tickets
There are slips for:
Homework Pass
Assignment Pass
Wear a Hat in Class
Wear Slippers
Wear PJ's
Listen to Music
Use a Teacher's Chair
Choice of Seat
Sit by a Friend
Lunch with Teacher
Recess Electronics
Stuffed Animal
Teacher's Helper
Time Keeper
Noise Monitor
Lego's at Recess
Recess Games
Computer Time
Recess Dance Party

Students that earn lots of respect tickets are presented with an editable Respect Award. I usually let the kids pick out which one they want.
