Positive Office Referrals

Google Slides™

Description
Students are often only called down the see "the principal" when things are going badly. When I became an assistant administrator, it was important that I could also call a student down for THE GOOD things they are doing! That's when the "Fist Bump" was born. At our school, we call it the "Baron Fist Bump" ---> but your school can insert their own mascot name, or just call it a Fist Bump!
Positive Office Referrals give teachers and staff the opportunity to celebrate something good a student does. Our teachers place the positive office referrals in a box and at our weekly office meetings, we read them out loud and designate an administrator or guidance counselor to call the student down and CELEBRATE! The student is then photographed (with permission) and celebrated on social media. We send home a letter and the Fist Bump to parents and make a BIG DEAL about THE GOOD.
Included in this Google Slides digital file:
-- Sample Fist Bumps
-- Fist Bump Templates (you can insert your own logo and mascot name)
-- Sample letter to send home to parents and/or guardians
-- Sample and Letterhead templates
-- Sample and Template logos for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram OR for printing a poster students can hold when taking the celebratory photo
--Another version of the Fist Bump without a logo or mascot name
**Each slide can be downloaded and the images can be copied.
