Use these positive self-talk cards to help improve self-esteem, confidence building, and encouraging positive thinking skills. Bundle includes digital paperless and print resources. Each set includes over 100 positive self-talk statements for kids and young adults to read. Some self-talk statements include: "I can do this", "I can get through anything", and "I start with a positive mindset".

What is Positive Self-Talk?
Positive self-talk is the voice in our heads that helps encourage us and pushes us through challenges. It is the inner voice that tells us things like, “You can do better next time”, “You are beautiful the way you are”, and “You are going to do great”. It can be a critical coping strategy for kids and young adults to help build confidence, work through challenges, and realize their own individual potentials. Anyone can teach positive thinking skills, including special educators, regular educators, parents, and more.

This resource includes both the paperless digital and paper versions of these positive self-talk cards:

The paper resources includes four different versions, including black/white, color, and two different sized cards. One set is larger while the other is a smaller pocket-sized set. A physical set of printed cards can be a helpful tangible reminder for positive self-talk. They can be left in a binder, desk, calm down area, or in a pocket.

The digital resource includes two PDF files for sending to students, one in color and one in black and white. Links to online paperless documents are also included, so that this resource can be entirely paperless! For the digital cards, kids and young adults can load them on their tablets, computers and phones. This can be extremely beneficial because kids and young adults can have access to them online at any time.

How to Use Positive Self-Talk Cards
Kids and young adults should read through the cards aloud or silently to help build an inner voice with positive self-talk. This can be a critical coping strategy for kids who struggle with low self-esteem, anger, and more. Also, kids and young adults can go through their cards during times of stress, like when they are feeling angry or nervous. A set of cards may be left in the special education room, office, nurse's office, or a calm down area in the classroom.
