Description

Use these positive self-talk cards to help improve self-esteem, confidence building, and encouraging positive thinking skills. Kids and young adults should read through the cards aloud or silently to help build an inner voice with positive self-talk. This can be a critical coping strategy for kids who struggle with low self-esteem, anger, worry, and more. Kids and young adults can go through their cards during times of stress, like when they are feeling angry or nervous.

What is Positive Self-Talk?

Positive self-talk is the voice in our heads that helps encourage us and pushes us through challenges. It is the inner voice that tells us things like, “You can do better next time”, “You are beautiful the way you are”, and “You are going to do great”. It can be a critical coping strategy for kids and young adults to help build confidence, work through challenges, and realize their own individual potentials. Anyone can teach positive thinking skills, including special educators, regular educators, parents, and more.

What's Included

Each set of cards includes 102 positive messages, one written on each card. Four sets with different colors and sizes are available to meet the needs of your students or clients. The larger sets are the size of a quarter sheet of paper. The smaller sets are half of that, which are small enough to fit in your pocket or bag to go. Options are also available in color or in black/white. To save ink, consider printing the black and white set on colored paper to add a unique touch. Finally, blank cards are also included so that you (or your students) can write individualized positive statements, as needed.
