Positive Self Talk: Thoughts and Feelings Part 1

Description
The purpose of this lesson it to help students identify their self-talk, and feelings compared to thoughts. Anxious thoughts lead to anxious feelings, which lead to anxious behaviour (crying, acting out, tantrums). The first step in improving behaviour caused by anxious thoughts is to get the child to start paying attention to his or her self-talk, especially anxious thoughts.
There are 4 pictures directly from the book for students to look at and consider feelings vs thoughts that might be happening.
