Concentrating on the positive can be helpful, fulfilling, fun, and powerful. This journal was designed to create more happiness in your classroom!
First, print the set of 6 sheets for each child.
Explain to them that this week they will be writing about positive moments that they enjoyed or made them happy. I like to do this activity at the end of the day and several times during the month.
Write about funny things that made them laugh.
Things that made them smile or put them in a good mood.
Write about activities that were fun and would like to do again.
Something that they accomplished.
Include drawings and brief sentences of these happy moments.
Save the Journals!
When a child is sad or anxious bring out their happy journal and read it together! It will make a difference.
