Product Description
Positive and Negative Cards {Integer Game}

Each pair of students will need a standard deck of playing cards for this game.

To begin with, you can have the students remove all the face cards. They will work with the number cards only until they have more practice with addition of integers.

Explain to them that the black cards represent positive numbers and the red cards represent negative numbers.

For example, the four of clubs and the four of spades would each represent positive four and the four of diamonds and the four of hearts would each represent negative four.

Make sure each deck has been shuffled thoroughly and then deal the cards out so that each student in each pair has half of the deck. (This game is similar to “War” but with a twist) Download to learn the twist!
