This is an activity to practice using possessive adjectives with conjugating AVOIR. Teachers will need dice for the students to use in pairs or groups. With a partner, students use dice to choose what will be used in each sentence. EX: subject pronoun, object. Then students must pick the appropriate possessive adjective to complete the sentence using the elements.
Once I introduced this activity in my class, the confusion with HIS vs HERS finally disappeared. It really began to click for my students. They liked the repetition and seeing all the different ways possessive adjectives are used.
