Possessive Apostrophes can be tricky!
Use these worksheets as reinforcement activities to practise each rule for using Apostrophes in the Possessive Form.
The five rules included in this pack are:
Using ‘s after a singular noun
Using an apostrophe after the s if the plural ends in an s.
Using ‘s when the plural does not end in s.
Using ‘s if the owner’s name ends in s.
Applying the rules to the last owner if more than one owner is listed.
A printable memorandum as well as a PowerPoint memorandum has been included.
The PowerPoint memorandum will give students the opportunity to grade their own work and identify where they made mistakes.
A set of Letter size posters have also been included for classroom display as well as a reference page for students’ workbooks.
