This is a hands-on game your students can play to practice how to correctly use the apostrophe when forming singular possessives and plural possessives.
This engaging, educational game includes 36 game pieces (18 matches) and directions! Simply print and cut the game pieces (1 set for each pair or small group). Students turn all of the game pieces over, and then follow the directions to play Concentration!
I have also created a series of three PowerPoints for teaching my students the rules of using apostrophes. Click on the links to check them out!
1. Apostrophe Patrol PowerPoint (focusing on possessives and contractions)
2. Singular Possessive Nouns: You BEE-long to me!
3. Plural Possessive PowerPoint: You BEE-long to US!
