PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students will complete the task cards on possessive nouns. The task cards will show two sentences. Students will read both sentences. With the second sentence, students will fill in the possessive noun. The first task card shows the students what to do.

Example:
The toy belongs to my cat. It is my _____ toy. Answer: cat's

Place the cards in your literacy stations and students can work on them independently. There are 30 cards, a cover card, and a direction card.

An answer key is provided. This activity is brought to you by "PRECIOUS ITEMS."

My students enjoy task cards and it helps me to identify students that are still having difficulty with a skill taught. I have a task card station that students rotate into every few days. My students also work on the task cards when they complete their work early.
