This colorful file folder game allows students to practice identifying possessive pronouns while moving their game piece along the game board. It is easy to assemble and includes 24 question cards and answer key. Students can even play without adult supervision! Based on the Grade 3 Reading Street Story, however does not have to be used with the text. You can use as task cards with a recording sheet or play SCOOT as a class.
How to Assemble:
Page 1: Title and assembly of file folder game.
Page 2: Cut title with graphics and glue on front of a file folder, cut ONE label on left (depending on if you want to use a penny or a die. and tape on a sandwich size ziploc bag, cut title in lower right hand corner and glue on tab of file folder.
Page 3: Cut out game board and glue into inside of file folder.
Page 4: 8.5x11 Anchor Chart for Possessive Pronouns
Page 5 OR 6: Cut out and glue one set of rules (depending on whether you want to use a penny or a die) game rules and information about possessive pronouns opposite game board inside file folder.
Pages 7, 8, 9: Laminate question cards and then cut them out.
Page 10: Cut out answer key, glue onto a piece of construction paper and laminate.
