This bundle of three PowerPoints addresses when and how to use that tricky apostrophe!
It contains these three PowerPoints. (Click on any of the links to take a closer look or to view the preview.)
Each of these PowerPoints contains a companion handout.
As you advance through each PowerPoint, students can record their answers on the handout.
1. Apostrophe Patrol PowerPoint (focusing on possessives and contractions)
This 38-slide PowerPoint is a step-by-step presentation that teaches students the most basic rules of when to use apostrophes. It also differentiates between contractions and possessive nouns.
2. Singular Possessive Nouns: You BEE-long to me!
It contains 49 slides AND a worksheet companion! The worksheet allows students to follow along and record answers as the teacher moves through the PowerPoint.
3. Plural Possessive PowerPoint: You BEE-long to US!
It contains 48 slides AND a worksheet companion.
Each PowerPoint is fully animated so that you only advance when the teacher clicks the mouse.
These PowerPoints cannot be edited due to the copyright requirements made by the contributing artists (clip art, font, background).
