This product was designed to help my students learn a different format of testing besides multiple choice. So start with your regular Text Talk routine, and then end the activities with the test prep page. It’s a great format for a quick comprehension quiz.
This product Includes:
Vocabulary Cards: You could use this with your word wall, or for a weekly bulletin board. If you print this off on regular paper, you can split students into a group and have them create quick posters for each word.
Before you read questions: Used to build background knowledge. I like to use this for morning work the day that I read the story. This way it gets students in the right mindset for the story.
Testing Prep Questions: Not your typical worksheet. I use this format to help prepare my students for the FSA testing in Florida. Question formats include: Filling in charts, multi-select (or circle), Sequencing, or short response.
