- Great printed out, up on the Smartboard, or on a computer screen! Use one-on-one, in a small group, or with the entire class!

- 36 total picture cards and 48 total direction cards.

- Six gnome cards with 12 direction cards.

- Six bug cards with 12 direction cards.

- Six bug cards with 6 direction cards.

- Six mushroom house cards with 6 direction cards.

- Six wheelbarrow cards with 6 direction cards.

- Six kids in the garden cards with 6 direction cards.

- Direction cards focus on post noun elaboration. For example, “Find the gnome with a shovel.”

- Some cards address the concept “every” for multiple gnomes.

- A pacing strip page for use in games. “Do you have a gnome with ?” “Do you have a bug with?” “Do you have a mushroom house with?” “Do you have a wheelbarrow with?” and “Do you have a kid with?”

Ideas

- Work with a field of 2 or more cards or the entire sheet and ask the student to find the described gnome.

- Can also be used to work on color identification. For example, “Find the gnome with a red hat.”

- Print two sheets and play Go Fish or Old Maid to work on using the phrases independently with or without the pacing page.
