You’ve got mail! Maybe you’ve played the rhythm version of this game, so here is the Post Office Game with a Treble Clef Twist!
In this game the teacher will say a word. Each student, who has an envelope with all the possible word choices, will then try to find the matching treble clef staff card. Once they’ve put all the cards back into their envelopes then “they’ve got mail!”
Included in this set:
* Two different sets of Treble Staff Cards, one with a stamp image and one with a mailbox image. Both are also included in black and white.
* Answer Cards for the teacher to use.
Each set is broken down into the number of letters in the word: single letter cards, two letter words, three letter words, etc. through seven letter words. This will result in many different "versions" and levels of the game. The less number of notes on the staff, the easier the version you can create for yous students. If you need to challenge your students, then select words that are harder. Tailor make these to meet your students ability levels.
These work wonderfully for whole group instruction, small group instruction, centers and as part of your sub plans!
All versions come in both numbered and un-numbered sets.
