Students will stay engaged as they visually and aurally practice the rhythm Ti-Tika (eighth note / two sixteenth notes). Other rhythms include Ta (quarter note), Ti-Ti (eighth notes), quarter rest, half note, and sixteenth notes.

-12 rhythm patterns with a colored background and with a black and white background (24 cards total)
-Teacher Key with all of the rhythms listed
Assess your student's ability to hear and identify different rhythmic patterns. Have them work alone or in small groups.
Any rhythm reading system can be used with this set. Print the cards on card stock for long-term use. Use the cards for additional activities such as piecing together known songs, composing new songs, performing the cards on instruments, etc.
