This US History power point covers the main issues in the immediate post-Revolutionary War America, from the Articles of Confederation through Washington, Adams, and Jefferson's presidency, to include relations with Native Americans, Constitutional Interpretation, Bill of Rights, Judiciary Act, Whiskey Rebellion, XYZ Affair, Marbury v Madison, and the Louisiana Purchase.
There are 3 activities for students to complete built into the slides (as well as recap questions):
--one on the Bill of Rights
--a strict v loose interpretation writing prompt
--one involving some founding fathers and a "yearbook." Each activity can be completed individually or in a pair/group.
