This resource contains 20 different post cards of famous U.S. landmarks and tourist attractions, each with a written description containing 8-10 fill-in-the-blanks for regular and irregular past tense verbs. This activity would be perfect for back-to-school or after spring break when students share about vacations, or to pair with your students' U.S. history or social studies curriculum.
Each postcard comes with a print and a no-print version (see preview), so this activity is ready to go with minimal prep for tabletop or teletherapy. Each postcard also comes in a grey-scale version to be ink-friendly, if you wish.
There is a word bank of verbs (not conjugated) for each postcard, but there are multiple right answers in many of the sentences. You could also have the student write their own description of the postcard. An answer key is provided for the verbs in the word bank.
