Use these fun postcards in many ways! Send the “Welcome” postcard out to each of your children before the first day of school, or pass them out at Back-to-School Night. *Included are versions for Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade, but you can add in any grade using the editable option. Use “A Note to Say Thanks” to send quick thank-you notes home over winter or summer break.
“A postcard to my teacher” is my personal favorite because I LOVE receiving mail from my students over the summer. Simply hand them out, pre-stamped if you would like, at the end of the year so that your students can write to you about their summer vacations.
Use the PDF version to print and go, or open on powerpoint to add your own touch. You can even add in your address on the student postcards so you don't have to write it in 25 times!
These postcards are teacher and kid tested. They meet the size requirements to use a postcard stamp (cheaper than typical stamps).
Choose the postcard cover that you want to print. Choose the postcard back that you want to print. (One has lines, one does not.) Print these two pages double-sided and they match up perfectly. Print on card stock so that you can mail them. I like to use colorful card stock to save the colored ink, or you can use the colored versions!
I love sending home these postcards with my students in their Summer Review Packets at the end of the year. My students and I both feel that saying goodbye on the last day is a little easier with the promise of writing letters to each other over the break! It also really helps ease my students who move over the summer and won’t see me in the fall.
I hope you and your students enjoy!
