Product Description
This Poster-Study Guide can be laminated and 3-hole punched to be used as a bookmark-reference in students' binders OR It can be printed out as a 24” by 31” poster for a year-long reference in the classroom. A black'n white version of it allows for an easy distribution.
Do your students ever feel lost and do not know where to start solving 3-D questions? Do they ever confidently go for Volume, when the question is meant to be about SA? You might want to try this product. I use this poster to emphasize the p r o c e s s involved in problem solving of solid-related situations. Having it as both, a small copy and a 24” by 31” poster allows me to do it continually throughout the course (or the 2-year course).
*The item includes Total of 3 pgs (not counting the cover sheet): 1 full edition mind map (V, SA, LA); 1 light edition mind map (only Volume);1 page of teacher’s instructions.
*Possible Uses:
-Follow-up and Summary during and after completion of the 3D Unit.
-Assistant and “Visualizer” of the thought process during Guided practice or Reteaching .
-Students’ “communication device” for Small Group discussions.
-Home-work assistant.
- Preparation for Geometry problem solving;
-Test preparation;
- Can be used in any level of classes as well as for home-schooling.
