I post this in the front of the classroom.
I may point to it and ask students to read it out loud, especially when they are about to learn more complex or new concepts.
I point to it as well when students raise questions before I have finished teaching a new word or concept.
This affirmation of patience often generates a constructive conversation on how our brain works.
I teach French, a language with its own challenges, so this poster helps the students accept that learning a language takes time.
