Description

If you find it hard to explain phonological patterns, and want simple visuals to help explain to parents and teachers, then look closer at the posters for phonological patterns.

The Posters for Phonological Patterns cover the most typically seen phonological patterns in 3-5-year-olds (though these can persist beyond these ages). The posters include voicing, final consonant deletion, fronting, stopping, cluster reduction, deaffrication, weak syllable deletion, and gliding.

This product is part of a discounted SPEECH CHART BUNDLE of high-quality charts, posters, and infographics

Each chart provides a simple explanation of the pattern, an example of how a child would say their words using the error pattern, approximate norms of when most children eliminate the patterns, and a sample list of words.

PRINTING OPTIONS:

1. You can take the Posters for Phonological Patterns to a local print or office supplies shop to be printed as various poster sizes.

2. Print as regular paper sized and laminate for durability. It is great to pull out of a folder to reference and show parents.

3. Print the black & option and attach it to a report or use it for screening purposes.

What SLP’s like you are saying :

I LOVE this resource. I have been using it to help parents better understand phonological disorders and the patterns we are targeting. The visuals are cute, clear, and easy to understand. These are in my go-to binder for handouts!

Love these for giving handouts to parents!! It’s so easy to forget parents don’t always understand speech terms and these handouts make it easy for them to follow along when I am explaining!

These are so wonderful for displaying and using to talk to parents about their child's speech patterns. Excellent clear explanations and so parent/teacher-friendly!
