“Pot O' Gold” helps students review the instruments of the orchestra and instrument families with a fun, St. Patrick's Day theme. This is a Smart Notebook Game. Great for a sub, too!
This game includes two types of questions: 1. write the name of the pictured instrument (printable word bank included in Word format if you want to make it easier); 2. multiple choice naming the family of the pictured instrument.
Students must name instruments and orchestra families to win their "Pot O' Gold." See the preview for instructions on playing the game. Each team has a cute animal token to advance through the game as they try to reach their pot of gold. Kids will love advancing their own token and clicking on the disappearing animals to reveal the answers!
Instruments included in this game are:
Woodwinds - flute and clarinet;
Brass - trumpet and tuba;
Strings - violin and cello;
Percussion - piano, snare drum, xylophone
This game takes one 30-45 minute class. This lesson would be most appropriate and enjoyable for kindergarten to 5th grade.
