This Pot O’ Sight Words Craftivity is a fun way to encourage students to practice reading sight words around St. Patrick’s Day! Your children can practice fine motor skills through coloring, cutting, and gluing. They will get practice with spatial arrangements by assembling the pieces to create their pot of gold and rainbow. Children will also practice identifying high-frequency words on their gold coins. So much fun and learning all rolled into one art project!
This lesson aligns with Common Core standard RF.K.3c, but can easily be edited to reflect words with specific spelling patterns to apply to older grades as well.
