This is a hands-on activity in which students work in pairs or groups to determine how the weight or height of an objects effect its potential and kinetic energy. In order to find the affect of weight, students will weigh and then roll five balls down a pipe and then measure how far each ball traveled. In order to find the affect of height, students will roll one ball down the pipe five times, each time raising the end where the ball enters.
