This is a great assessment tool after my Potential and Kinetic Energy PowerPoint. There are two different formats for your choosing. One describes an activity and the students write whether it is an example of potential or kinetic energy (better with younger students). The other has a table with an activity described. For each potential energy example, students give a corresponding kinetic energy example and vice versa. I have also included an extension activity that my students love to do while studying potential and kinetic energy.
