Product Description
This packet by Suzanne Buras includes 4 different foldable “booklets” that can be glued in an interactive science notebook. The foldables include the following:

1. What Energy Helps Us Do: Make Light, Makes Things Grow, Make Things Move, Make Heat, and Run Machines

2. Potential Forms of Energy: Chemical Energy, Nuclear Energy, Stored Mechanical Energy, and Gravitational Energy

3. Kinetic Forms of Energy: Radiant Energy, Thermal Energy, Motion, Sound, and Electrical Energy

4. Renewable and Nonrenewable Sources of Energy: Each one has a "pocket" in which students sort cards with the different types of sources of energy.

There is some cutting, folding, and gluing/taping involved, but this engages the students. Instructions are found on the “booklets” themselves regarding what to cut, where to fold, where to glue or tape, etc. All booklets work best if you copy them back-to-back or one-sided to two-sided on your copy machine.
