Description

We are confident that you will be extremely pleased with these review cards for your student scholars to use! Additionally, this is a FREE SET! Use it for co-operative learning/student contests, or attach to your bulletin board for an instant word wall!

We recommend that you print these cards on 4 sheets of card stock, which you can then cut apart and laminate for a strong, long lasting, resource. When you print double sided from the templates, four key words, along with sample sentences using each word as examples, will be on the front of the sheet, and the parts of speech and definitions will appear on the reverse side aligned with the correct word. In addition, we have redone these so that each page also contains a single part of speech. Page 1 are the two adverbs, page 2 contains the nouns, and pages 3 and 4 are all verbs; so, if you use a different color card stock for each part of speech, instant color-coded word wall!

The words reviewed in this set are:

Ancestor; Ancestry; Breach; Ceremoniously; Dawdle; Diminish; Fester; Gunwales; Redemption; Sarcastically; Savor; Scour; Stoke; Vault

This lesson is appropriate for grades 4-8.

Aligned to the Newly Adopted 2017 TEK Standards (in effect Fall 2019): Strand 1, 110.6 (3) A, B, and C; 110.22 (3) A, B, and C; 110.23 (3) A, B, and C; and 110,24 (3) A, B, and C.
