Do your students have trouble remembering metric prefixes? Use this fun card game to help them out! Played like the public-domain game "Spoons," but with a scientific twist.
Download this deck of 52 cards; thirteen sets from Tera- to femto-, each set representing a metric prefix in four different forms. *THIS VERSION IS COLOR-CODED BY SET.* If you want the more challenging version without color-coding to help students out, see my other product by clicking, Power of 10.
The game is easy to learn - it is played according to the rules of Spoons or Go Fish. The difference is that each set of four portrays a metric prefix, its abbreviation, its value in scientific notation, and its value in expanded notation. Use the sets most relevant to your classroom or use them all! Great for homeschool, physical science, chemistry, and physics classrooms.
