The beginning of this PowerPoint has students explore different idiomatic phrases popular in Africa, followed by maps of the most francophone African countries for students to memorize the capital of. Next, students review the futur simple, learning how to conjugate reflexive verbs to this verb tense as well as how to negate a reflexive verb in the futur simple. Afterwards, there are directions included for the Fishbowl game for the chapters they just read, as well as a link to a Jeopardy game I created through flippity.com (an AWESOME website by the way!). The game reviews the futur simple, vocabulary, events of the story, and African expressions and capitals.
Included in the presentation are lesson objectives, warm-up activities, embedded timers, as well as some photos.
The African idioms were taken from Archie (I believe this is through enseigner TV5). I would strongly recommend the site, as it includes helpful activities and visual aides!
