PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson aims at teaching the standard SL2.0 Paraphrase portions of a text.

Students are taught the vocabulary for paraphrase and plagiarize, and are shown examples of each. Then in the concept portion of the slideshow students are shown examples of researching unknown words and ideas, identifying the main point, rearranging text, quoting text, and citing your sources.

In the skill portion of the slideshow students are shown multiple passages and given the opportunity to paraphrase them. A printable sheet is available at the end of the slideshow to go with the skill portion of the PowerPoint.
