Expeditionary Learning (EL) is a free curriculum that can be found at Curriculum.ELEducation.org. I did not write this curriculum; I am selling my time and creativity in creating a supplemental digital resource to help teachers who might have limited access to physical resources (chart paper, copies, board space). I am selling my creativity to help these teachers teach this curriculum, manage their classroom time, and minimize their prep time.
These EDITABLE slideshows can be used alongside the EL curriculum to help teach the Meaning-Based portion of the EL block. This resource is great for classrooms without a document camera or chart paper. It also helps teachers save board space as it displays texts digitally (like the "Learning Target" poem) that do not need to be visible during all points of the lesson.
When you download, be sure to view the lessons in SlideShow mode. The links to jump to each lesson are only available in Slide Show mode, and there are animations that might make the slides look unreadable in the editing mode.
I'd recommend using a slide presenter/clicker when teaching with this resource. This will allow you to not be tethered to your computer/laptop (and they are available on Amazon for around $10).
As this is a newer curriculum, there are liable to be little typos/errors/omissions --- please reach out to me if you find any!
