The second in the series "Powerful Paragraphs", this activity is designed to boost your students' writing skills. It was designed for both English Language Learners, and native English speakers who need help structuring a powerful paragraph.
The process is simple. Look at the image together and brainstorm some fresh vocab. Read the sample text, and teach the writing focus (topic sentences for Powerful Paragraphs 2).
Students then write their best paragraph. You give feedback, for them to incorporate in their writing next time.
