If your students need help with writing a paragraph, this will do it!

The fourth in the series "Powerful Paragraphs", this activity is designed to boost your students' writing skills. It was designed for both ESL students, and native English speakers who need help structuring a powerful paragraph.

The process is simple. Look at the image together and brainstorm some fresh vocab. Read the sample text, and teach the writing focus (concluding sentences for Powerful Paragraphs 4).

Students then write their best paragraph. You give feedback, for them to incorporate in their writing next time.

This product includes two options for their paragraph (one about the picture and one a personal one) an extension activity and lesson plan. It works on paper, PDF or Easel for digital learning. Check out the preview for a full overview.

Note: this is available as part of a five-part bundle, which systematically builds on skills from numbers 1 to 5 -- from topic sentences to concluding sentences.
