Powers of 10 is a 2-player game that allows students to practice solving problems involving the powers of 10. Players roll a die to identify a column in which to select a problem to solve. If correct, the player covers the box with a counter. The first player to get 5 in a row - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - wins the game. This activity meets or exceeds the Common Core Standards of Mathematics and makes for a great class activity or learning center as students practice converting fractions to percents. An answer key is included.
