More detailed information:
Please note that, unlike other products in my Practice & Assess series, I am only releasing two sets as opposed to three sets. It’s also very important to note that there are some distinct differences between these two sets.
Set 1 (Level A) for Grades 4-5 contains fewer items on each practice and assessment. There are only 12 items on each practice and 12 items on each assessment instead of the usual 20.
The prerequisites are also considerably lower when using Set 1 (Level A). In order to complete Lessons 3-1 through 3-9, students will not need to have mastered additional poetry concepts covered in the Lesson 2 section of the notebook (rhyme schemes, sound devices, rhythm, etc.).
Set 2 (Level B) will cover Grades 6-8 and will include the usual 20-item practices and 20-item assessments. Students completing Lessons 3-1 through 3-9 will need to have an understanding of all lessons in the Lesson 2 section of the notebook.
Each set includes unique content, which means that the questions and poems are all completely different and leveled for each packet. If you differentiate in your reading classes, I highly recommend that you purchase both sets. Set 1 will be released during the month of June.
Many lessons are 2 or more pages, so I run them front and back and recommend that you do the same whenever possible.
Since there are 2 sets and two similar worksheets for each lesson (one practice and one assessment), I have included this information at the bottom right corner of each page It either reads Practice or Assessment, followed by the level. The lesson number and topic are always at the top left.
