A modified version of my "Practice Measuring in Inches and Centimeters" worksheet that asks students to find perimeter instead of area. More suitable for younger grades.
Students practice using a ruler by measuring objects in both inches and centimeters. Worksheet presents students with lines, rectangles, a hexagon and a triangle to measure and specifies whether the student needs to use inches or centimeters. Students find the base and height of the rectangles and use those measurements to find perimeter. Great for practicing using a ruler, as required on FCAT 2.0. All measurements come out in whole inches and whole centimeters. Answer key included. Created by Amber Mealey.
