This product was designed for my kiddos who initially substituted ‘t’ for ‘s’ (e.g. tock for sock). Once they mastered ‘s’ sound in isolation, we started working on ‘s’ sound at the beginning of words (e.g. sun, sock, saw). I noticed that the ‘t’ sound made its way back in so that ‘sock’ became ‘stock’ and ‘saw’ became ‘staw.’ I needed to get rid of that ‘t’ sound! So... I segmented the words into ‘s’ and the remaining syllables. As long as there was a full stop between the ‘s’ sound and the rest of the word, ‘t’ sound never made an appearance.
Just print and laminate the whole sheets or make individual cards. Enjoy!!
