In this activity, students practice writing their numbers (proper number formation), as well as practicing rote counting and sequencing numbers by finding the missing number before and after a given number (1-100). This activity is great for students just learning about numbers, or students whom write their numbers backwards and need more practice. This activity is also great for number identification as students say numbers aloud or to themselves as they trace and fill in the missing number. Great for developing understanding of "before" and "after", or "next".
I use this for all of my students, and for my special education students, I laminate the sheets so they can practice them daily to ensure they get the repetition needed to learn and retain their learning.
