An exercise to practice "(S)he's wearing ... " "(S)he's got (blue eyes / blonde hair)" "(S)he's waving/holding a flower ...".
The students colour in the pictures first, following a description on a piece of card.
The final part of the lesson consists of matching the pictures to the characters' names through the teacher reading out a description of each one.
This should help the students acclimatize to the vocabulary as well as develop their listening skills. The methodology in this loosely follows approaches such as guided discovery and the lexical approach.
