This is a PowerPoint lesson and note-taking guide that teaches converting fractions to decimals. I use the PowerPoint on my smart-board and upload it to goggle classroom for students if they need extra help or if they were absent for the day. You will find that as you go through the PowerPoint, students can take notes on their note page which we put into our math interactive notebooks. The PowerPoint is editable and has 24 slides. It covers converting fractions to decimals if the denominator can or cannot be made into a power of ten and converting repeating decimals. The interactive notebook page has three windows that students glue the definition behind and write examples. There is also practice comparing and ordering with fractions and decimals.
