Do you ever find yourself scrambling for a sub day activity? Are you a substitute teacher who would like to have valid math activities to use when students finish early? Maybe you are an administrator struggling to find a good substitute teacher for math classes, or an emergency situation has you wishing for a stash of productive pre-algebra go-to activities?
I can help!
I have assembled a bundle of seven activities appropriate for Pre-Algebra students, so that a substitute will never feel like he or she is “babysitting” a class again!
Minimal preparation is required. Appropriate notes are included to help both substitutes and students. Four of the activities may be used at any time during the year. The other three lessons do require that certain topics have been introduced. I have tried to include activities appropriate to the beginning of the year, midyear, and late in the school year.
